Hello, I trying to mount Zalman CNPS4X on my lga1155 and lga 1150 board and there is no way it fits... I have right arm bits everything and it is always 1mm short.

I tried every rotation possible.

Are you sure you're using the Intel hardware?

https://www.zalman.com/EN/Product/ProductDetail.do?pageIndex=1&pageSize=10&pageUnit=12&productSeq=1011&searchCategory1=4&searchCategory2=48&searchCategory3=-99&searchKey=&searchWord=

Press Download > Download to download the manual and check if you are using the right hardware and doing all the actions in the right order.

The Intel and AMD clips look quite similar:

You also have to use a couple specific mounting holes and such too, so be sure to read the manual carefully.

I believe he's talking about the backplate. You can see the mounting points on the right aren't lining up.

@Patrik_ Is the backplate bent at all? You might find bending it out a bit will space out the mounting points enough to fit into the board properly.

Yeah, I wouldn't be comfortable forcing it to fit.

Only thing we can really suggest it contacting Zalman or the retailer you purchased it from and requesting a refund.

A single mm short means something just has to be bent into shape a tiny bit. Just flex the plate a little, it's not like they shaved 1mm off the middle by accident

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Let me refraze that there is like 0,2 out of 100. Didnt work.

from the pictures you shared, it just looks like you need to bend it more, not 0,2 degrees.
