of course I agree a sudio mic and interface will be much better in regards to reliability, and durability less point of failure concentrated into one piece of gear

again like I said a condenser mic will not treat you well in your current situation iunfortunately and I would say stick to the mics I reccomended. going USB will treat you much better than plugging directly into your potentially noisy mobo as well as lacking the feature you require about monitoring your own voice
