32gb of trident z rgb 3200mhz ram 4x 8gb sticks

is all 32gb detected under task manager?

I have the ryzen 7 2700 8-core 16-thread 3.4ghz clock speed with a total boost of up to 4.2ghz and 32gb of trident z rgb 3200mhz ram 4x 8gb sticks and 1x gigabyte radeon hd 7870 OC version 2gb windforce 3x fans GPU and 1x 512gb basic 2.5" western digital ssd and a asrock 570x motherboard and a thermal take 750w fully modular rgb 80+ bronze power supply the CPU is running on its stock air cooler and the GPU is running on its stock air cooler as well and there's 1x 120 mm fan in the rear of the case and it's running in windows 10 pro 64-bit but unfortunately after running it for a while it starts to get very slow and will even start to use almost 45% of my ram just on idle and even 70% of my ram when just playing basic minecraft as a test the CPU almost always runs at like 0.7% to 3.2% on idle so that's not a issue can someone please tell me what's going on.

minecraft

this really don't need that much power.

once it's loaded into the memory, it would not bother the system at all.

try some benchmarks like prime95 or 3Dmark.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

So, your question, I think, basically boils down to you think your RAM usage is too high?

RAM usage is absolutely meaningless unless you're paging to the file system, i.e. you don't have enough. Windows caches all sorts of things in RAM, but will evict these things if there's actually pressure on the RAM capacity. The fact that you're using 45% or even 70% of your RAM doesn't matter.

You also mention it getting slow. There's all kinds of potential reasons for that, but as long as you aren't paging, RAM usage isn't one of them. There's not enough here to diagnose what the issue might be.

All the ram does show up in the bios and the cpu is running as it should and all the drivers are installed and updated and the gpu fans only run fast because I have them set to spin fast but after the computer has been running for a while programs take much longer to load and open and all the temps of the computer are fine if you guys have any more questions please reply
