Should i upgrade cpu or gpu

bomberblyat

Hi, im thinking to upgrade my cpu / gpu, i currently have Ryzen 5 2600 and RX 590, but im not sure which one should i upgrade first.

I guess i should mention that i just bought rift s, so im spending a lot time in VR, so i guess gpu would be the one to be upgraded?

GPU upgrade here would make the biggest improvement.

depends on your games

determine which one is limiting you, and upgrade that

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

GPU definitely. 2600 is still a decent chip. Upgrading that isn't going to have a great impact on gaming performance.

I’d wait a month for nvidia 3000 to come out. That will likely create some fantastic 2000 series deals. But a 2070 super would be an amazing upgrade, especially if you can find a good deal on a month or two.
