I’m going to be starting college soon and I need a laptop, my budget is £600/$800. I want one that can game (nothing special just to look ok and run good) while also being able to do the general college work. I’ll be honest, I might look like an idiot here but I’ve very little knowledge of what laptop to get as I haven’t kept up with the models as I never needed too before and when now I’ve searched and there are so many and I dunno which to choose. Maybe someone could give me a hand and suggest one? :)

@BlueScope819 and does it game ok?

Minecraft and such yes. It's not a gaming laptop and you didn't specify that. What do you want to play on it? There is the new acer nitro 5 with amd cpu's and that is in your budget and will game.

@jaslion I would be playing games like csgo, cities skylines, Minecraft, maybe some harder stuff like gta and arma but I wouldn’t mind cranking the settings down for that. The nitro does seem a good fit. That might fit the bill

The nitro would be the better gaming machine but the flex will be a bit easier to carry around and have a bit better screen.
