Video Editing Laptop Suggestions

Hi,

I'm looking to switch away from Apple and get a new work laptop for video editing.  I am just looking for suggestions on laptops to look at.  I am looking at the Asus ProArt and MSI Prestige 15, but I'm not locked into anything.

I use DaVinci Resolve and the Adobe Suite with 4k footy.  I have never upgraded ram before, but I'm down to try.  Preferably, I would like to have 32 gb of Ram and at least 6 cores.

asus g14 running a 4900HS right now is the best you can get for the money without dropping 3-10k on a laptop

final cut can go die. given how most macs run hot as hell under a heavy load with no way to recover files if the machine gets damaged a macbook pro is the wrong choice
