Nas netorking

So how it works is there is an ethernet cable that runs under my house from the back to the front router. The nas that I am buying has two lan ports. One of the ports will be used to connect the front router and nas (not showed on diagram) and the second lan port will be used to connect the back router and nas. The thing is I am not going to go through the trouble to run a second ethernet cord under my house (the first one was installed by a proffesional) and I am not going to just run one though my house so I had the idea to use the  a 1-2 splitter. How this works is how it is on the diagram. So you only have to run one cord instead of two. There is one cord already there so If I did what the digram said would the nas work on the back routers network?

You cana't just use ethernet splitters, you need switches.

Since you have multiple lan ports, just plug the router into the lan port on one router, run a cble between the lan ports on ech routers.

Basically just plug the ns into the ln port on one of the router s and your good to go

yup thats exactly what you want.

O I forgot to mention that the front router (the one on the right) is a router and modem combo and the router on the left is a regular router and it is connected to one of the lan ports not wan ports on the router to the right. Sorry will that still work or how will i have to configure it to work

Yea thta seems right. That should work fine.

Are all the devices on the same subnet? So like 192.168.1.x for example?
