Cannot use Nvidia GPU for display

I have an HP pavilion 15, which has AMD 4600h and GTX 1650. My laptop display is running on the integrated amd Radeon graphics and not nvidia. I have the latest drivers and also tried reinstalling them.

The laptop display always runs on the integrated graphics until you use a graphically demanding task.

In the nVidia control Panel, under "Manage 3D settings" look for "OpenGL Rendering GPU".

 

Make sure that's set to GTX 1650.

you can disable the intergrated graphs from bios.

 

@Smit Devrukhkar true. this is a problem since minecraft is not demanding = usually runs on intergrated =poor performance = angry user= hates laptop = breaks laptop= regrets = cries = buys anoither one = repeats

Yes It will switch to the GPU but it will still pass it through the AMD GPU but you should be able to see GPU use in afterburner.
