Uplay download issues please help!

*first of, sorry for my english!*

 

So since i got a GTX 780, i also get a free AC4 black flag & Splinter cell blacklist coupon code. now i have no trouble redeeming it.
but here's when shit about to go down. UPLAY!

Now i have used uplay before for my Far cry 3(physical) game, i'm not impressed or disappointed by anything. but now...
i have to use the game downloader from Uplay for the first time..... aaaandd i was disappointed/unhappy!

basically, i was downloading SC:blacklist first since it has a lower download size compared to AC4. I was downloading at night, i go to sleep. then suddenly, i don't hear

my harddrive making noise / any activity lights. And so i checked my pc, seeing at the upper corner of my uplay saying 'failed to connect to uplay server, we will try to connect as soon as we have access' ... or something like that. i was confused, i decided to open my browser and no prob connecting to the internet yet uplay keep saying that it can't connect. so then i restarted Uplay, download it back.

then after about 5MB, there's a big window open saying, 'download failed'.... wat

My internet is still fine. so obviously i clicked resume instead of cancelling the download.  Again, i went to sleep, hear no harddrive activity, and another download failed popup. and thats just when the download reaches 13MB!!!

 

i OBVIOUSLY can't play the game at the state like this. i'm ashamed that the free games uses uplay instead of steam...

also what pisses me off is that you have to manually resume the download when losing connection. this is totally unreliable!!!

any workarounds? any download site to download my games instead of uplay? Torrents? or can i use piracy?... (hey i have the game now, no need to worry about me pirating the game, i just want to play it!)

Download the game as a torrent (don't crack it). RELOADED is usually a safe bet when it comes to good/fast torrents.

Just search for it on torrentz or something and pick the one with most seeds. You have to delete the existing files and create a folder with the same name UPlay used when it started downloading the game, then unpack and plonk all the files in there and launch UPlay, it should (hopefully) detect the existing files.
