This is the most janktastic setup I've ever seen

You haven't changed anything about the system, right? Including using different cables and such?

I would try unplugging the HDD and network cable, double checking if your monitor's input is set to VGA and then try to turn it on again. If that didn't work, try resetting the CMOS.

What motherboard do you use?

It’ll POST, it won’t load windows. But at this point we need to just get it posting.

Also, just so you know, hard drives are very sensitive electronics. I see you have it sorta just propped up on one corner, definitely have it sit flat on the ground. Flip it upside down if the cables won’t let it sit flat.

First, reseat all your plugs at the computer and monitor, it is super easy to bump something on an open system like that. Then check your monitor input and reset your cmos.

yea this monitor is very old and wont let you edit anything without the pc on and Im pretty sure that everything is okay with the monitor this is some kind of else problem because as I said the pc shut down itself

Kinda a shot in the dark here but unplug power from your system and let it sit for 10min before plugging it back in. I've seen some HP systems get into a weird state with all the capacitors maxed out.
