Cheap ryzen processors aren't cheap. You can get a intel 9100F for 75$ new which is enough for pretty great 1080p gaming when paired with a 1060 6GB. Amazon warehouse deals on MSI Z390 Pro A is 100$, leaving plenty of money for 2x8GB corsair vengance ddr4 ram

5950X/4090FE primary rig  |  1920X/1070Ti Unraid for dockers  |  200TB TrueNAS w/ 1:1 backup

YUP. Not only are you going to a place from which you can upgrade, but a 9100F beats a 2600 in multicore performance, and thrashes it in single thread performance

I used to Play GTA5 on a i5 3570K. It did fine. But it comes down to what settings you use.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

If you leverage the NVENC encoder on the 1050ti, it just might do it.
Yeah, a used CPU is either gonna be DOA, or work for a decade. Is kinda the beauty of CPUs

Okay I know what is DOA now it shouldn't because guy said it's working

DOA means dead on arrival
I'd get new ram, at least in the US you can get good 2x8 DDR4 for 70ish$. I'd go with no less than a refurb mobo (amazon warehouse deals are great, but you might be missing the io shield, I've bought 8 warehouse mobos and 1 was lacking the shield)

If it comes with a cooler, that should be plenty enough
