I got mine in on Friday.

Tried it on my Asus Prima Z370-A and also on my Gigabyte TB250-BTC Pro (With coffee lake mod). They both run the i3-8100 fine so they are not broken. But they do not post with the QQLT. So I requested a bios at Mr Su.. I suspect that some CPUID microcode is missing in regular bios. Or the GOP (Intel video) needs to be updated to support mobile CPU's.

 

Waiting for the Bios from Mr Su. I've got a CH341a flasher and have provided him the current SPI rom. I already tried to upgrade the bios to the latest Intel Microcode with UBU. But that does not help. It does not post yet.

906EC is in there. And I expect it to be a variant of this one. But perhaps not PRD. 

If anyone got the CPUID microcode for this QQLT ES CPU you can also share this here so I can put it in the bios my self. If not I will wait for the response from Mr. Su.

After some communication Mr Su gave me 2 biosses. One for my Asus Prime Z370-A and one for my Asrock B250 Fatal1ty gaming K4. The bios supplied seem fine. My 9th gen i3-9100F also runs fine on the B250 with this bios. (My own coffeetime bios also worked fine with this CPU). However with the QQLT ES my system shuts down after that fans shortly spin up. So I just asked them what to do. Perhaps mine has a mechanical problem and should be replaced.

Since I know that the Z370 I have has some problems I might look for a replacement mainboard and try it on that. But on the B250 I expected it to work, which it doesnt atm.

So I know everyone is into the gaming aspect of these cheap PC builds but how about one for just learning coding, Arduino builds and such. My 7 year old is very interested in that and building a PC himself to do this but I have to admit I’m not a computer guy and don’t know where to start......

Also waiting for crazy chinese cpu lol. Any cooling options other than the stock cooler? My communication with the seller has not been the best but like you mentioned, it.will take about a month for the cpu to get here so. He did requested my email, mobo model and what kind of cooler I was using.

Tried so far on both an Asus PRIME B250M-C and MSI B250i Gaming motherboard.

 

Have to use a bios chip programmer to flash the BIOS sent by Mr SU. 
This part wasn't shown in the video. Flashing was easiest with the Asus vs the MSI

Update from my side.I ordered on Aug 23. It came in on Sept 4th. I have sent over 24 emails and aliexpress messages untill now, Sometimes they reply. But often not. I have tried 5 different mainboards. They all work fine with my i3-8100 and i3-9100f. But with the QQLT ES (With the supplied bioses)  the CPU wont work. On all mainboatds the same behaviour. It only lightens up for less than a sec and shuts down. I use a CH341a flasher to flash the eproms. Also made a video for them to show the problem. 

I've tried to get a swapped CPU or money back. But nothing on that untill now.

My advise. Do not buy this CPU. When get a DOA with a mechanical failure, like mine probably has, you are lost.

Mine did same. With 2 mobo. Resolved by slowly back off retention bracket fasteners 1/16 turn at time in criss cross pattern. Backed off about 1/2 turn total and it posted

stock cooler is useless. thermal throttles. On 240 liquid get 100% overclock 4.8 all core.
