Sub 300 used work laptop

Hi
I am looking for a Laptop to do my homework on it. I use my PC at home to play games, so i will not use it to play games on it at all. The only use will be browsing the internet and writing in word and excell.

Only thing i am looking for is "alot" ram and a decent cpu for the budget. Battery life is also not that important, because i will only use it at home and take it to my parents house, so i can work from there. also not very important is the disk space, but a must have something faster than a HDD.

I mean, at that price point, chromebooks are an attractive option if you can use Google Sheets and Google Docs.

i use microsoft word, and i concider buying used

I bought a used ThinkPad x250 with an i5 5300U, 8gb Ram and  256gb SSD. Its 1,3kg and does all i need.
