GPU temeratur

I've looked at some other peoples gpus and they said their 2080 / 2080 ti are at maximum 60-70 °C when gaming. My 2080 Super goes up to 86 °C when gaming. Is that safe?

It's safe, but it's rather high.

What case are you using, how many fans do you have and how are they set up, and what are your ambient temps?

86° is pretty much the top of what you want and most GPUs will start scaling back their timings at that point.

Do you have a manual OC on the GPU? Set fan curves?

The solid front panel does anything but help airflow, so that's definitely part of the reason. Maybe try removing the front panel and see how that changes things.
