I would check software forums to see if there are any compatibility issues with AMD.

Some smaller software companies only support Intel.

I learned this the hard way and it was very expensive to fix.

Years ago all my computers were AMD. AMD was number one for gaming and productivity.  At the time I used 3D Studio and Light Wave 3D. With Light Wave as my animation package.

I updated LightWave since I needed a new feature for a project and in the render it crashed over and over again. I rang the company and they told me they did not support AMD.  I started using Light Wave in 1990 with Amigas and the AMD issue came up in 2008 so I was not going to abandon software I had 18 years experience with. I also used this stuff for a living and project deadlines had to be met so no time to play around. I switched to Intel literally overnight.

In 2013 I abandoned Lightwave altogether and used just 3D Max.

Since I have been doing 3D design forever the last thing I did before retiring was consulting work. So I always checked to see if software was compatible with hardware since my reputation was on the line if I got it wrong.

I Switched to 4k in 2015. So I like the resolution. It makes fine detail easier to see in the viewport and to spot errors in a render.

I don't like the size but it may be that I am old. The last monitor I used for work was a LG 32" 4k monitor. I now use a 55" TV.

The reason I like larger monitors is for fatigue. With doing 3D on a small monitor your head stays still for hours at a time. This puts lots of stress on the neck. With a larger monitor the head moves slightly and that relieves stress. I was an extreme case since I did 3D all day and gamed at night. In the end it was my neck that gave out.

I use one table that size and two more 180cm X 80cm. I have always used lots of computers.

I am converting all my tables to adjustable ones. Too much sitting down.

I have never used an arm but it may make things easier to adjust for focus. I always used prescription computer glasses so that my eyes focused about 50cm away from the screen.
