You need a video card for starters.

I personally wouldn't be buying top tier processors this close to the release of next gen ones.

I wouldn't get a 970 Evo, there are cheaper options like the SX8200 Pro.

What sort of video editing do you do? If you're not working with massive projects and you're just doing it as a hobby, you could just as well go with an 8C/16T CPU.

What sort of games do you play and at what resolution?

Can you wait a couple more months until building, so you can go with the new CPUs and GPUs that will be launching?

The fans are replaceable on it for a reason. And if OP likes the look of it, I don't personally see a problem. It's a great performing cooler.

undoubtfully those fans are best

I was about to say that, but it seems you did it for me. The A12x25s are pretty much as good as 120mm fans can get.

Thankfully, according to Noctua, they'll be releasing a chromax.black version early next year :D

Something like this would be good. Except if you can, wait a month or two for the new hardware to come out so you can swap out the cpu and gpu for one of those. Depending on what resolution you are editing, a 12 core processor may not be necesarry. Maybe 8 cores would be better.
