Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  Mainly gaming (I want this computer to be able to play Cyberpunk on good settings) but some programming a rarely some VMs.

Hey all,

I have a computer that served me well for the last couple of years but I'm starting to witness it struggling running games and by the "system requirements" of future games I think it is time for an upgrade.

My current specs are:

CPU: i7-6700k

MEM: 16 GB DDR4

Motherboard: Asus Z170-K

GPU: GTX 970

PSU: 550W ANTEC

Thanks in advance

Wait for Ampere and RDNA2 GPUs to release in a couple of months, and upgrade to one of those then.

What exact model PSU is it that you're using? Do you already have an SSD?

Wait for the new gpu's that are coming out. What psu is that? Now is not a good time to buy a new gpu and the gtx 970 should still play the game at decent settings.

I do have ssd it's just that I feared I won't be abel to really play cyberpunk with my current rig. If it will be able to hold I think I will wait for the 3000's series. Do you have an estimate for how much it will cost?
