It has a vs450 and I’m trying to upgrade it from a 1660 to a 2060 super and an i5 9400f hoping to upgrade in the future

Get a PSU upgrade before a GPU upgrade.

A VS PSU is made for an iGPU system, not one with a $400 GPU.

Yes. If it has a spare PCIe slot it will work.

What if your current PC specs, more specifically the PSU?

It has a vs450 and I’m trying to upgrade it from a 1660 to a 2060 super and an i5 9400f hoping to upgrade in the future

to go with the current psu

assuming it's the grey label VS, no, it wont explode.

but the psu isn't made for such load on it, it's a low end psu and isn't meant to power a gpu like this.

Would you say a CV650 is good

decent but get something better. atleast cv650 is better than cv550 since it is on complete different platform.

what about corsair cx450m/cx550m?

system power 9 400w/500w, purep ower 10/11 400w/500w?

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

It's not bad. Better than the 550 and the 450w version of it.

Though if you're on a tight budget, a system power 9 500w or a cx450/550 or a pure power 11 500w would probably be better.
