Hey, guys! I'm thinking about building a PC gamer from scratch, but I don't know technical things about the components to do so. In that matter, I'd like you to help me. Which components should I pick and why? To start, I'd like to play in a screen with 1920x1820 resolution. Plus, I'd like to build something that is not too expensive and yet, can give me a nice playing experience. I don't know if it is enought with 8GB RAM or if it's necessary a 16GB RAM memory. Let's think about optimization: good components to play OK, minimizing the cost of this components.

Thanks a lot for the help!

That’s a bit of a weird resolution. I hope you mean 1920x1080.

Anyways, we need some basic info:

Country (including currency):

Budget:

Programs/Usecase:

Any other details (refresh rate, resolution, need a monitor, keyboard or mouse?):

We can help you to build a gaming-pc. A pc-gamer is another story...

Jokes aside, we need at least your budget before we can recommend anything.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Yes, mate. That's right ! 1920x1080.

Venezuela, but I'm thinking order through Amazon.

Let's think in a budget around 500-600 USD.

Yes, I need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Let's think of a budget around 500-600 USD. But, like I said, let's think of "decent" components to a nice gaming experience and let's see how much would it cost.

In your price range i'd suggest going for used parts. 600$ including peripherals will not get you a very nice experience when buying new.

If you want to buy new, this can get you started. You can buy a generic 1080p 60Hz monitor for ~100$ and get a mouse and keyboard combo for ~20$. The integrated GPU in the CPU can get you going with gaming, but if you have more budget down the line, you should add a dedicated GPU like a RX570 or something like that for a massive performance boost.

The CPU has integrated graphics so you wouldn’t need an dedicated GPU for the moment.

Once you feel that you could use the upgrade of a dedicated GPU, look for a used RX570/580 for around $120. They have a nice bump in performance and should do most games at 1080p 60FPS high/ultra.

New, this would be good. The monitor will do you well for years and when you upgrade but the storage will need an upgrade after you have installed a game or two. You can get 60fps with lowish settings in some games.

What I would recommend is buying a ryzen 3 3100 (the max you should pay for that is $110) and buy a used rx 570 or rx580 graphics card and maybe a used 144hz monitor (for about $100). This would give you over 100fps in most games with decent settings on.

either get a 512gb ssd (maybe a crucial p2000 nvme) or add on a 1tb hdd. You can install a game or two as well as your OS on the ssd and other games etc on the hard drive
