Can my Hp 500 80+ bronze psu run a Rtx 2070?

21Vash

My pc is running a intel i5 9400f and a 16 gb hyperx ram, the company of my psu is HP and looking to upgrade my gpu to an Rtx 2070. I never overclocked anything and do not plan to, just wondering if my psu is good enough for an ASUS Rtx 2070 mini?

Is it 500W or "500W" - check the side table with the power rails. If the +12v rail can handle at least 35 Amps, it should be fine.

You look at the side of the power supply - there is a table with voltage rails and power values.

12v = 40A

yep, that means it can output 480 watts.

if it has the proper pcie connectors, then it should be fine.

Thanks! So can use the Rtx 2070 without overheating or any serious problems?
