My ping just goes from 30 to 150 ping in like 3 seconds and then quickly goes down again. This happens like 30 times every game. Has anyone tried something like this?

What games and what are your internet speeds? ISP?

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am always glad to help

its likely your wireless. latency problems and the occasional delayed/packet might not impact speedtest and other streaming services that cache ahead, but ondemand things like games will be massively impacted by it.

you're likely getting dropped packets, or massively delayed ones. you can do some basic ping test yourself. drop to command prompt and ping -t 8.8.8.8 while on wireless. than if you can plug directly into the modem/router, do the same. you'll probably see a massive difference in the latency. (add -t to run ping continuous)
