Hi there how is your day going, so I still have the GTX 670 I purchased for like 30 dollars which came with a GTX680 Copper waterblock (cannot think of the name for now, but I'll include an image) and I'm trying to figure out what size fittings are on the block as a 1/4 inch barb on my h100i radiator fits inside of it but I need to find out what size the barb is, all I can offer is a reference photo of the two sizes

Kinda hard to tell by the image alone with no model information, but if i had to make my best guess...3/8? Best to get a digital diameter gauge and measure it yourself, honestly.

Yeah I would if I had a gauge but sadly I don't and when I asked the previous owner he said 1/4 which isnt correct

Are you willing to risk the mixing of metals? the radiator is aluminium and the block is copper.

Yes I am, had this sitting in my room since my 18th birthday and I'm tired of waiting to use the Gpu I'm broke as hell and got no money to save up so I'm working with what I got and I'm completely fine with mixing metals

To me they look like 1/2" or 12/13 mm ID. Also I think the silver fittings are standard G1/4 thread (which is probably what the guy meant) and you can just replace them for another one.

Pretty sure you're right about the 1/2" I shall try to find a ruler as Not wills suggested

1/2 or 5/8. Can’t say from a pic. Could always swap them so it would make sense.

Just remove them and get the ones that match the rest of your system, no sense to change everything else to fit those two you got.

That rad really looks like it has super tiny fittings and they are soldered on.. scary stuff man. Better make sure you run lots of glycol or something similar with the mixed metals.

I'd say even a cheapo rad from ebay or aliexpress with proper threaded holes for normal fittings would be worth it.

Okay so I'll be more specific I only have £30/ whatever that is in dollars to watercool my GPU as I'm sick of it being unusable and It's only £5 for a pump, £8 for the reservoir, £3.50 for 1 metre of 1/4 hose and probably going to spend £0.99 for a sample (200mm) of 13mm hose

I’d still get smaller fitting for the card. The whole loop actually. May help with the pump I assume you’ll use.
