Hey guys,

Recently just got a new MOBO, Ram, and Processor. I am trying to get it to boot but I'm getting stuck in a minute long boot loop. No displays on screens.

Parts:

CPU: i9-9900k (new)

Mobo: ASRock z390 pro4 (new)

Ram: Ballistix 3200mhz 16gb (X2) (new)

Gpu: RTX 2080 Super (owned, transferring)

Psu: Cosair RM750x (owned, transferring)

What I've tried:

Changing the slots of the ram to each slot using just 1 stick.

Changing slots of ram with 2 sticks placed at 1-3, 2-4.

Pulled the GPU out and put it back in.

I have not tried resetting BIOS because I am not sure how to do with this board and don't have a jumper so would just use a screwdriver like I have on other builds in the past lol

Any help is appreciated.

(Also did you really buy a 9900k and a z390 board in this day and age? What were you thinking?)

i would buy the 9900k just for the pentagon packaging

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
