Can't screw in M.2 motherboard heatsink because of m.2 screw blocking it?

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

this has to come out, since you have this large heat sink neither of the standoffs is required

Take a look at the picture, I can't screw in that screw because the m.2 screw is blocking it? What am I supposed to do? I tried removing m.2 screw and then screwing motherboard heatsink screw but it bents a SSD a little so I doubt that is how it's supposed to be done.

How so? The SSD is meant to bend a little, in that it flexes down towards the board to be horizontal.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Take a look at the left side of the SSD, see how it's bent a little?

Oh, that is removable? I had no idea. I guess that solves my problem. Thank you very much.
