Hi all,

do you think stacking up desktop at the same high as where the AC is located is a good idea cooling the desktop?

I wouldn't recommend this as it may cause condensation on the components directly which may cause electrical damage in the long term, also having the side panel removed will mean that more dust will enter the case and that could affect the system's performance if you don't clean out more frequently.

one more, can it effectively cool the cpu if someone is really on super tight budget using stock cooler but he/she has an AC at home?

Yeah, and if the issue is that your system is overheating then I would do the following:

1. Clean out internals of computer using compressed air.

If this doesn't solve the overheating, then...

2. Replace thermal compound on your CPU.

If this doesn't solve the overheating, then...

3. Upgrade your CPU cooler or upgrade to more fans if supported by your case.

It's likely going to damage your components due to condensation of humidity associated with the colder air of the A/C than the surrounding air and the air within your case under normal conditions. A good CPU air cooler can be had on even a limited budget as long as you don't need any fancy RGB or silent-design fans, if you would like a recommendation please include what motherboard/CPU you are running, your budget, and what country you are shopping from.
