Which monitor should i choose... help

So i was thinking of buying an ultrawide gaming monitor for a while now and 2 of them cought my eye.

So the first one is     Acer Predator 34'' X34P for 1200$

And another one is  AOC 34'' CU34G2X for 780$

So im curios to know if Acer is worth paying 420$ dollars more then the AOC..

Thanks in advance..

check out the video linus made on the samsung monitor, it seems very good.

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

the acer monitor is a curved ips, though i'm not sure i'd pay that much for it, unless u like curved ips that much...

The AOC one is definitely not worth 800 with the odyssey g7 being a thing.

Now would anyone pay 1200 for the x34p when the g7 is 700usd....probably not.

well it comes down to how much of a premium u put on ultrawide, the g7 even has better colors, higher refresh rate etc. personal preference really, but in this case u'd be paying ALOT for ultrawide alone. I guess the x34p is ips but still, it's steep, a few months back even a pg27uq was 1200...and thats a hdr1000 monitor.
