Hello guys, I'm urgently in need for your help.

I had an old Avigilon server which ran on Windows 7. After the PC motherboard malfunctioned, I created an image backup of the HDD with AOMEI Backupper.

After I installed the image using Rufus on another HDD on a different PC, the PC won't boot up.

I tried booting it in safe mode, but when it reaches ambakdrv.sys, it restarts.

I attached the HDD using an enclosure to my PC and and manually deleted ambakdrv.sys. After that, I tried booting it up again in safe mode, it reached disk.sys and reboots.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem?

is there any thing that you are afraid to lose?

Actually it contains all the configurations and licenses needed to reinstall the server. I tried getting a license file but I couldn't since I've lost my old email in which I registered the licenses with😔

Win7 did not like being transferred between different hardware at all.

It's kind of too late to make a backup when the PC is starting to act up, who knows what could be corrupted. The whole point of backups is to be made in advance when everything runs fine.
