Buying Bitcoin

So I'm looking to buy a little Bitcoin to experiment and I heard from someone that it takes a while to receive my bit coins if I buy them.

Is there a place that doesn't do that or that just gives them to me instantly? I don't really like waiting especially with something like Bitcoin that changes so much.

And if there is, what is the best or most trust worthy site to use?

Thanks

I personally wouldn't buy bitcoins at the moment.

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/

My technical readings show a drop to 540 or more before another rise. I'd wait for a good dip to buy in.

People I know use this exchange quite a bit: https://btc-e.com/

I wouldn't buy into bitcoin due to all the problems they have been having with the coins being stolen. Your better off on the stock market IMO.

True but the volatility is one of the points that make bitcoins very popular for short term investing. Stocks have a limited time frame and its easier to track news on just bitcoins and the cryptocurrency market.

Plus OP is only planning on spending $35, you'll find it hard to make money with such a low amount of money. Trading stock requires a brokerage account and along with that comes with commission fees for placing buy and sell orders.

I'm not going to be investing just so you guys know. I'm actually going to be donating it. What i meant by experimenting is just seeing how buying and selling with bitcoin works.

All I'm wondering is what site can i buy from that instantly give me my bitcoin right after i buy it because i heard that it doesn't happen instantly sometimes and Coinbase doesn't do it instant unless you have a credit card. And in my case i do not have one so therefore i can't get it instantly.

I think your outta luck, I can't think of any exchange that would give you the coins without having you wait. Its a security function, if you don't use a credit card.

I agree. The reason that it takes sometime is due to the fact that miners/people have to verify the transfer accordingly to prevent someone from stealing coins by saying they never recieved them.

There's very few options to get Bitcoins instantly if you haven't been verified on an exchange.

You can try to see if there's a Bitcoin ATM near your location (unlikely at this time) Or try a local meet up with someone who buy/sells in your community, you will pay a bit of a premium based on whatever the person is willing to sell at. https://localbitcoins.com/

Outside of that, I'd suggest Coinbase within the US, unfortunately it takes time to become verified and trusted.

In order to get things set up so you could get bitcoins instantly you need to do a few things first.

Sign up and become verified on an actual exchange (coinbase is not an exchange).  Btc-e Bitstamp, etc

Once verified make a small fiat deposit, say $100.  With funds sitting on an exchange in your name, you're free to make buy/sell orders as often as you like.  When you want to donate $35 worth of bitcoins, use $35 of fiat from your funded exchange account and make a buy order at market value.  You can then instantly withdraw the Bitcoins and send them anywhere you like.

Never keep a lot of value on an exchange.

If you're just wanting to experiment and see how it works try this site which will allow you to create a temporary wallet, receive a small amount of coins, and then you to donate that small amount.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

Hey, I like to use http://thegenesisblock.com/markets/ instead of bitcoinwisdom.com, as it has the same bitcoin info, but also has bitcoin articles in the bottom left which are fun to read, and a "Mining" button top left to see how profitable mining will be. Just thought you should check it out.

It seems nice to use but the beeping sound really bothers me.

The beeping noise level can be controlled on the right side in the settings section under "Alert Volume," and that can be set to none, which I always do.
