$900 PC with all parts currently in stock

RAlX

Budget (including currency): USD 900

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Some AAA games. No video editing.

Other details Will use the hard drives (SSD + HDD) from old PC.

I wish I could wait a few more months, but my old PC died this week and I need one that I could use now. I am a first time PC builder. I tried my best to find all the parts that's currently in stock (which I think is one of the most difficult part). I am looking for suggestions on this build. More specifically about:

1) compatibility issues

2) known quality issues with some specific parts

3) alternative parts that I should consider

Thanks a lot! :D

They are all compatible.  I really don't like the H510 airflow...cos it's nonexistent.  I'm assuming you'll be using the stock cooler for the CPU.

Thanks for checking!

Right. I plan to use the stock cooler for now. I don’t have much preference for cases. Is there any you could recommend  that’s less than $100?

The P400A is pretty good and should be below $100.  It depends what kinda looks you're going for though.  Cooler Master TD500 Mesh is pretty good too.

Also the Fractal Design Meshify C, another good case on top of the other ones from @Samfisher. Otherwise looks good.

Interesting. I thought 5700 XT costs 400+. Let me do some research on this card. Haven’t heard much about XFX.

there are other options under 400, the 5700xt isnt as expensive as you think.

Revised for no storage

If you want ray tracing, but if not get a 5700xt it’s faster

Thanks for all the suggestions!

If my research is right, Ryzen 3600 supports 3600 MHz max RAM speed, which is what I intend to choose for the memory (not too expensive anyway). How is the quality of this MSI motherboard? Strangely the supported RAM frequency of this motherboard does not include 3600 MHz (at least that what I found). Is there any good quality B450 motherboard that support 3600 MHz RAM you can recommend? (I don't see myself upgrading GPU/CPU in short term anyway. So future compatibility is not a huge deal for me).

spec I found --> Supported Memory: DDR4 1866Mhz 2133Mhz 2400Mhz 2666Mhz 2800Mhz 2933Mhz 3000Mhz 3200Mhz 3466Mhz 3733Mhz 3866Mhz 4000Mhz 4133Mhz

If I can save a bit on motherboard without sacrificing build quality, I should definitely consider 5700 XT.

Thanks!
