Motherboard question

I have a gigabyte s2h am4 b450m, i paired it with ryzen 7 2700x and 2x8gb 2667mhz cl19 ram,

My question is should i upgrade my ram, if so can i go more than 2933mhz because on the website it says that max is 2933mhz. Thank you

You should be able to OC it yourself in the BIOS pretty easily. I have a 2400 kit that runs at 2933, and it could go higher, although I haven't tried yet.

Overclocking results is never guaranteed. 

So buying into 3000mhz to 3200mhz is ok for your platform. If it does 2933mhz instead, that's still a big performance gain over 2133mhz.

 

You want CL 14 or CL16 at rated XMP.

My kit is kinda shit, doesnt have any heat sinks, and the brand is not really famous idk if im really safe

What site? AMD's? Because well the imc handles 2933 easily but anything over that is technically an overclock and is not guaranteed. 

A 3200 cl14 kit. Like a b die kit should he fine. And should perform better than your current one.

I think you didnt understand me, i have a kit thats normally working on 2667, and if i buy a kit thats like 3200 will it work full speed on my motherboard or no

No the faster kits will de-rate to the lower speed.

Maybe its not the RAM should consider upgrading. If you get 3200mhz 2x 4gb RAM you'll spend $40-50 (U.S. Dollars), Why not spend additional $40-50 and get a decent motherboard. You can get a B450 (any brand shoud do, ASRock is solid) for anywhere from $85-$110 (U.S. Dollars)
