Does an amd system work well? Cpu/gpu?

It works with an AMD cpu but again you'll have almost none of the benefits. The GPU you use is irrelevant.

not necessarily, AMD actually benefits from ClearOS.

I did say almost 🤷‍♂️ as you can see in those tests it just trades blows with other distributions.
