i cant see something like skynet killing us, but greedy corporations and people, stalling scientific development just might. i strongly believe that we should look into inhabiting other planets for earth will soon not be able to probide for us.

Exactly I can definitely see a bunch of billionaires coming together to save themselves.

The human race will continue to progress scientifically, its just how we are. whether or not we can adapt to coming changes is up to the individual. We've been shown to create and adapt, I'm sure we'll continue to do that forever.
