Question about Excel

I know that you can write notes in each cell, but since I want to write a lot into the notes is it possible to display the notes in a separate frame rather than have the pop up?

With this you can print all the notes on a separate sheet of paper. It's not in Excel, though, but it may come close.

Notes are likely insufficient for your purposes. I think it might be better to use full adjacent cells to enter your text and then hide them away with other functionality like cell grouping, a macro to unhide on mouse over, etc.
