Got a new corsair fan... With no RGB controller

Hulkstern

Heyo, I hope someone can help me with this. I recently purchased a fan for a friend, specifically this one. I thought all was good, but recently we've found out we need some sort of controller to control the RGB. Just from my perusing of amazon and their website, it seems there is no easy way to do this. Everything seems to be some $50+ solution that does way more than we need (which is to control the ARGB of one fan). Does anyone know of a good way to do this? I want to make sure my friend is taken care of. Thank you ! (=

Does your motherboard contain any rgb or argb header? It might just do the trick. Otherwise any argb controller with the proper voltage is fine.

So Corsair fans have to go through a corsair controller, it's dumb but that's how it seems to be. =/
(At least just for the lighting)

Maybe return the fan and buy a package that includes a hub. Unless you're dead set on a overpriced fan check out this package.
