Hi, I am trying to overclock my CPU using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. I have an Intel Core i5 4670K 3.4 GHZ, can anyone tell me what is the best way to go about overclocking it?

use the multiplier also, use the bios, its better to overclock in the bios than with software, even if intel make it.

go up in small increments and use prime 32 to test it

Prime95 is not recommended for stress testing on Haswell. The best program to use for stress testing for Haswell and avoid sudden voltage increases is Intel XTU. I would also recommend @ProKoN 's guide

What I do is put the max voltage that you're comfortable with and then start cranking up the core clock until its unstable

CPU AMD FX 8350 @5GHz. Motherboard Asus Crosshair V Formula Z. RAM 8GB G.Skill Sniper. GPU Reference Sapphire Radeon R9 290X. Case Fractal Design Define XL R2. Storage Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD and 120GB Kingston HyperX 3K. PSU XFX 850BEFX Pro 850W 80+ Gold. Cooler XSPC RayStorm
