Hi guys! Can you guys suggest me some solutions. My pc were running with 2 screens. One for the gaming and another for perfomance views. The problem is with my Samsung Gaming Monitor which I yesteray I bought a brand new Samsung Oddysey G7 and I set the refresh rate to 240hz. So far it didn't works at all at 240hz higher but works perfectly on 60hz and 120hz.

Here's my PC specs:

Intel Core i7 6700k

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti (connected to monitor through displayport adapter to HDMI)

MSI Z170A Gaming M7

32GB DDR4 Samsung
Samsung NVMe SSD

Idk for sure but it might be the adapter. try without it if you can

I’d prolly try a regular cable in which it’s designed for. My monitor can do 240 on the right hdmi port or display port but I don’t use adapters.

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz

Likely the Adapter screwing with you...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
