Need Help Identifying this Machine

I have no clue what model of macbook pro this is. I think it is like the 2012 one or something but im not sure. It is most likely one that uses the mag safe connector as seller said he doesn't have a charger to test it. But aside from that this guy is selling it for only $40! And it looks like its in good condition as well! Hopefully its not super busted but hey $40 is a little bit of money but I don't have that much of an issue with it. If it doesn't work I could just sell it anyways for, like, double.

This is just a listing i came across on the facebook marketplace. They only have this picture and a picture of the rear of the machine with the apple logo.
