I'm Not Getting A Post From My Motherboard And Was Wondering If I Have Damaged My CPU Socket And What I Can Do To Fix It?

 

Please And Thank You For All The Tips, I Just Bought This PC And The Hard Drive Went Out, Now I Accidently Damage The CPU 😭 What Next

Well...that CPU socket has so many bent pins, looks like some of pins are bent beyond repair, that is going to be any easy fix.

You may need to find a replacement motherboard...

 

I don't know WHY you messed with the CPU / CPU socket / motherboard, if it was the HDD that failed...

Yeah. you have caused some major damage to the pins on that socket.

Not quite sure how you managed that.

 

Some pins look like they are just bent while others look like they are completely missing.

She's dead, jim. Maybe look to see if anyone in your area does CPU socket replacement. It's somewhat specialized though, and not everyone has the tools to do it.

And if they do, is the cost of the repair worth it:

If the repair is ~50% the cost of a new board, its better to just get the new board.
