Hey guys!

I just finished cleaning my ps4 slim and applying a cheap to medium range thermal paste. After closing it up, i booted it and decided to run horizon zero dawn to test it out. After 5 minutes of gameplay, i got an error saying the ps4 is too hot. I checked all the surfaces and it was not hot at all! Then it automatically turned off. This only happens with AAA games and it runs minecraft without any problem. Ive tried rebuilding the database that didnt work.

Pls help me out here as ps4s are extremely expensive in my country and i cant afford to repair.

Thanks in advance.

Did you make sure that the thermal paste was applied well and the cooler was seated properly?

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.
