Havenu14

I just got a new pc but it only has 250 gigs, I would like to upgrade the storage, I have about a $120 dollar budget but would like to not spend as much

Were you looking for a new SSD (fast, higher price per GB) or a HDD (slower, much more storage room)?

And what motherboard do you have?

Well, if you're looking to add in another drive for games, mass storage, etc., you could either go for a reasonably priced QLC SSD (Crucial P1 or Intel 660p) or something like a Kingston A2000 which is usually similarly priced to the two SSDs I previously mentioned (~$100 for 1TB), or a mechanical hard drive (you can get a 2TB WD Blue or Seagate Barracuda for around $50).

If you're looking to replace your current drive (so use it for your OS), I'd look for a good SSD like a Silicon Power P34A80, ADATA SX8200 Pro, HP EX950, WD SN750, Sabrent Rocket or Samsung 970 Evo (roughly $130-140 for 1TB), or even the previously mentioned Kingston A2000). Avoid QLC and/or DRAMless SSDs in this case.
