As my VPN will expire, any recommendation of a good one? Anyone have a good recommend? Need to unlock Netflix and no log, access to China(optional and preferable) and have access from China. As I travel the globe in the next 2 years.

P.S. I know PIA do sponsor Linus, but they don't unlock Netflix and Linus never mention it!!!!!!!! I guess you have to have sponsors, but seriously I think Linus audience to have Netflix geo allow is a important considering once again his audiance.

I do recommend PIA, I have been using it for several years before LMG picked it up as a sponsor.

Netflix blocks most known VPNs out there as far as I am aware as they are actively looking for VPN IPs.

Not sure if you are aware but PIA has added a Proxy Redirect where as you VPN to one point and then to a second, as far as I know you can still watch Netflix through that set up, I just checked and it worked just fine I connected to Southampton, UK then Dallas, Texas and Netflix did not cut me off or block me.

Worth noting that they have announced that they're dropping Hong Kong from their service though, which may be important for OP. Then again, I'd expect most VPNs to be dropping support other than some niche ones.

@We Didnt_t start_the_fire If you plan on travelling to China or Hong Kong, you may want to look for a dedicated VPN for that region while you're there. Some of the bigger VPNs, like PIA, have already dropped their HK servers in light of the new Security Law.

I personally use PIA right now and have nearly 600 days left on my subscription, but might move away when it comes up for renewal.

A good place to start looking is https://thatoneprivacysite.net/. It compares the majority of VPNs across multiple categories, so you can choose what's important to you. NordVPN tends to come out on top for most of this, but PIA does pretty well. Mullvad seems to be the one to go to for outright privacy, but is a bit more expensive.

I use NordVPN and consider to be pretty good, except on the mobile platform. I find that several of my apps and websites time out and just generally have more issues when Nord is enabled on mobile, but for desktop/laptop use it's been top notch. I do not notice any speed drops and I can choose from a multitude of countries. I picked up a three year subscription for like a hundred bucks...I have no idea if that's a good price but I paid lol.
