My PC boot loops when I have ram in dual channel installed. I can't figure out why, but it works fine in the (assuming it's slots 1,2,3,4) 1&2 work, 3&4 work. 1&3 boot loops, 2&4 boot loops, 2&3 boot loops. I've checked that the ram is good by itself, and it is. What's up, and can I fix this? Could it be caused by a dead CMOS battery (mine is)?

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

clear the cmos. update the bios and chipset drivers.

check the cpu for any damaged memory channel.

I don't have a USB. Do I have to get one if the bios is old? Can I do it with a CD?

you can get one..

you can check this video if you want on how to flash it

just go to support and install the latest  bios or your board.

you can also just inspect the cpu if there are any damaged memory channels before.
