I had this asus rog gl502vs since 2016 and ever summer i would change the thermal paste noting was wrong with it until about 2 year of ownership the screen would just randomly glitch on startup but everything was working so i payed ir no mine ,3 year into ownership i started seeing a performance decrease i just thought  it was just getting old and software issues was causing it . Now in 2020 just finish replaceing  its thermal paste and this happened

re seat the cooler ( though highly unlikely to fox it).

ddu the drivers and if there is any overclock on it get rid of it.

Maybe you spread the thermal paste where it is not supposed to be spread? Or you damaged the card while taking it apart?

I was thinking that as well can you anyone  confirm that my gtx1070 is ok, iv had 2 other laptop in the past but there gpu never looked liked this

Impossible to tell by looking. Problem is it is probably cheaper to buy a new system/GPU than get it fixed.

I cant honestly say cause i dont have a second to replace it but iv tryed connecting to my tv and it still  shows that it glitching out still

How are you connecting to your PC monitor? HDMI? Same cable when connected to the TV? It's worth checking, I've had very similar visuals to what you posted with a dodgy cable.

Are there thermal pads on the memory chips?? Does the screen issues start at a cold boot (When you first turn on the computer after shutting it down the night before)??

haha, I totally missed that 🙂 In that case, the cable that's inside, between the screen and motherboard. They are cheap on ebay. Might be worth trying, as the least expensive option?
