Can anyone give me the slightest bit of guidance on how to find a good CRM? I'm assuming that's what I need, our needs are so so simple but I can't freaking figure out how to do it

Calendar with contacts (google contacts or outlook contacts) on it and a status....... that's ALL I need

All I can find are marketing tools and work flows and all of this complicated stuff, I just want to put a google contact on a google calendar and tag it as bill call or completed.

Any sort of input you might have would be great

Just build it yourself. CRM ( Customer relationship management ) software is literately just a front end for any database that lets you store things. Before there were computers there were rolodex's. That's all CRM software really is at it's core.

You need something like "account number, username, first and last name, phone number, address" at the minimum and then you go from there. If you don't want to build it, most software you will find is built around sales leads. So they are designed to track not only who you talk to, but who is doing the talking, what they asked for and so forth.

Of all 18 programs listed on a site that is free and open source (always start there) and works with google calendars the only aware of airtable and mailchimp.

Would you happen to know of any guides on doing this? I see all of these CRM's and I'd gladly pay anything to have what I need but they're all way more involved than I need.  Simple is the key for my dad, he still relies on pen and paper even though we have a laptop in the van.  I will look into the ones you listed though, I'm just having a hard time sorting through the sea of information to find something so simple.

ok I think air table is going to do it, not sure how easy it will be to integrate with our phones but it's worth a try

Thank you very much for giving me somewhere to focus my search, now I can learn what I do and don't need
