Corsair Commander Pro not recognizing Lighting Node Pro

I have been adding RGB into my build.  I have Corsair Commander Pro, both RGB channels are being populated by the RGB fans and a RGB back plate.  I am in the process of adding some Corsair RGB strips.  I connect them to a Lighting Node Pro, and then I connect that to the USB header on the Commander Pro.  I can control all of the RGB, except for the RGB strips.  What did I do wrong?

try connecting the lnp to the mb usb. you also might not have it set up in icue but i would think you would get the default rainbow.
