new build for casual gaming/ drawing

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: GIMP,Adobe Photoshop,World of Warcraft

 

Hello everyone,

I would need advice on a new computer mainly for video games such as World of Warcraft, Borderlands and graphics programs such as photoshop and occasionaly Blender
I have an nvidia 550 which I will change later on. In the meantime, I would like to buy the other components as soon as possible
I thought of a:

 

• Ryzen 5 3600
• A MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard
• Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO Black DDR4-RAM 3600 MHz 2x 8GB memoria
• EVGA 650 GQ, 80+ GOLD 650W, semi-modulare

i have a 250 GB SAMSUNG EVO SSD 840  i need a second hard drive .
in the future I would like to put a second 24 fullhd monitor together with the current 24 fullhd one

budget 550-700 €

 

what should i change?

should i go for i5-9600k for the same price?

should i aim for a better CPU/Motherboard or not?

This is pretty good already for Photoshop. I recommend Ryzen 5 3600 since it’s faster than Intel i5 9600.

this build should be good for any gpu you wish to go with, i wouldn't go for the 9600k, and the tomahawk max is a good motherboard imo. if you are looking to cut money anywhere, you can probably cut down the psu wattage to 550w, but the 650w will also be good.

dont get the 9600k, that platform is dead if you are looking to upgrade, also a 550 watt PSU like a tx550m, cx550 or mwe gold 550 should work just fine.
