b450 vs b550

Hi im going to buy a pc in a few weeks and i want to know which motherboard i should go for i want the option to upgrade to zen 3 what is better b450 or b550?

What cpu are you pairing it with and what's your budget ? Amd did say that b450 will support zen 3 with a bios update if manufacturers rolled out the update. 

Msi did promise to support zen 3 on their b450 boards.

i was thinking for pairing it with 3600 but i read somewhere that the zen 3 was gonna release soon

If you need an upgrade now then sure go ahead. If you can wait. Then wait for zen 3.

Well an actual release date hasn't been set by AMD yet so nobody really knows exactly.

If we're to go by the rumours and what we've heard from AMD so far, then probably early Q4.

should i wait for a zen 3 then or buy a zen 2 now? and how much will they cost on release?

If you've got a decent, working system now, then it'll probably be worth just waiting for Zen 3 and seeing what it has to offer.

I don't know mate, again, we've no official numbers from AMD on these chips regarding pricing, performance, etc.

If I had to guess, they'll probably be priced in around the same ballpark as their Zen 2 predecessors.
