Nuke C Drive

Want to wipe my 1TB mechanical C drive before repurposing it as a storage drive in another PC. Is DBAN still the easiest way to do this? Or is there an easier option built into Windows 10 or something.

Just format, done... DBAN is for secure erasing so that data can't be recovered by whoever you gave the drive to, but since it's you reusing it there's no point taking hours doing a secure wipe.

Right but won't there be a problem if I plug in a second drive that also has a windows install? Haven't done that before

No. Unless you switch to boot on it it couldn't care less what's on there.
