Hey guys, just upgraded from my old 1050ti to a 4gb RX570 strix.

RX570 is on the latest drivers, Windows 10 is on the latest update.

When playing COD Warzone, my system is really stuttery now, pretty much unplayable. Whereas the less powerful 1050ti on the same settings isn't.

The useage on the RX570 spikes from 0% straight to 100% and back really quickly. This only happens in video games. Temps are sub 70c.

This has me really confused as FPS is showing as 62 FPS constantly.

The 8 pin PCIE power is seated properly.

Is it possible that this is software related?

System Specs

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600

MB: Gigabyte A320-M S2H V2 (B350 Chipset)

RAM: 16gb (2x8) 3000Mhz DDR4 (Corsair)

PSU: Corsair VS550

might be the psu. its not hte worst but it is pretty crap. rx 570 pulls much more wattage than 1050ti meaning that it can be your psu.

and yoru mothertboard is very bad for the cpu you have. You are pretty lucky that your pc hasnt crashed yet due to VRM's overheating.

make sure that the XMP or D.O.C.P ios nebaled in the bios for the ram.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

I guess that is what you get when you buy a prebuild hehe. VRMs get pretty hot but the AMD cooler keeps them going ok as it's downdraft. Just found my issue. It's the RAM, one stick is dud, only 8gb detected

try with different ram slots. othertwise you can return rma the ram( or the pc) or just buy anotehr stick

Did you DDU the Nvidia drivers? If you didn't - that's the cause

Also, is the BIOS/chipset driver up to day?

I must've knocked one of the RAM tabs as I installed the GPU. 16GB 3000Mhz now detected.

Thank you guys. @SavageNeo @5x5

Happy it wasn't my new GPU. Plus, now I know MB and PSU are my next 2 upgrades!

Look at the Be Quiet Pure Power Gold - it's an affordable and great option.

Wow, not much more than I paid for my current unit. That's the next upgrade for sure. Thanks!

No problem. And after a few months B550 prices will come down so you'll be able to get a B550 Pro4 or B550 TuF for cheap and have the equivalent to mid-range Z490 boards.

B550 seems to be the sweet spot, with a nice upgrade path. Certainly made x570 useless. Those boards you mentioned are nice too.

X570 still has its place - if you want to really push the amount of storage and speed of your storage, X570 is the only platform on the market for you.

Yeah, I didn't think of the storage aspect. Wouldn't be something I would use, so I didn't think about it. Still a noob to this PC stuff 😊
