RAM compatibility?

Hi!

I've recently ordered 2 bars of RipJaws Series 4 D4 (2x16go) memory but there's a note (that I haven't noticed cause I'm dumb) that says that this ram kit isn't compatible with AMD cpu, though some customers reviews said that it worked fine with their Ryzen CPU. Could someone provide me a clear answer or some feedback? BTW my CPU is a Ryzen 5 1600 AF with Zen+ architecture.

I doubt that it won't work, especially if your motherboard's BIOS is fairly up to date.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC

It's a gigabyte aorus B450i w/ WiFi, the bios might still be updated. (Honestly I don't see how a memory kit wouldn't be compatible with certain cpu brand though I was worried about the note on the website that's why I am asking)

Update your BIOS and chipset driver and everything will work fine.

It's a brand new motherboard, maybe I should flash it with an USB stick?

Check the version first. Before you waste time

What are the ram speeds? I wouldn’t imagine you would have issues 90% of the time, but if you do, you should try manually entering the ram timings.

I can’t imagine you having any issues with 2400MHZ.

I would guess that it just means it’s optimized for XMP.
